Our client is a leading luxury hotel company headquartered in Hong Kong with 12 properties located throughout the Asia-Pacific region. For the last 20 years the group has led the region in the marketing and management of outstanding properties, offering a hotel experience that defines the distinctive warmth and excellence in service that is Asian hospitality.
We are seeking to recruit a dynamic individual to join our innovative and service focussed management team. The Vice President Group Operations reports directly to the President and oversees the planning for and monitoring of all hotel operations. Working directly with each hotel General Manager, the Marketing and Sales and Development team the Vice President Group Operations ensures that each of the properties are optimally positioned in their respective market and are delivering the excellence in the level and quality of the brand standard. This role will require you to extensively travel to all hotels within the portfolio.
You must be an individual who has a hands on approach to management, leading and mentoring your direct reports with a focus on increasing market and financial performance and the overall capability of the management team. You will possess in depth experience in the successful implementation of leading edge hotel management techniques and industry best practices in all areas of operations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in operating and opening 5 star hotels internationally. You will have post secondary degree in hospitality management from a recognized University or industry specific institution and extensive hotel management experience at the General Manager level with a minimum of 5 years with regional multi-property responsibilities. You will possess outstanding team leadership and project management skills, and have a strategic approach to solving problems. You will have excellent analytical and presentation skills, substantial experience in preparing and implementing group operational plans and meeting or exceeding targets that are established.
