Hotel revenues shoot up to AED 4.261 billion ~ The results of hotels' performance have been released.
Hotel establishments in Dubai have registered 22 per cent growth in their revenues at AED 4.261 billion during the first quarter of the current year, compared to AED 3.493 billion recorded during the corresponding quarter last year, Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing announces in the first quarter report on the Hotel Establishments’ performance released here today.
The number of hotel and hotel apartment guests rose to 1.891 million in the first quarter this year compared to 1.769 million recorded in the corresponding quarter in 2007, showing an increase of 7 percent. It is the highest guest increase percentage in the world.
