NEWS| NO SMOKING in public places including Hotels & Rest

Smoking will be officially ban in India from Oct 2, 2008 all Hotels, restaurants, pubs, offices and even the international airport would be out of bounds to light up the rolled tobacco from tomorrow with the ban on smoking in public places coming into effect.

If you are a hotel with 30 or more rooms OR a restaurant with 30 or more covers then you can provide a separate enclosure (all 4 walls!) for the smokers.

You will be expected to remove all ashtrays, etc from all public spaces.
You will also be expected to fine defaulters!
