Alain Solivérès was born in the city of Beziers in southern France.
As a young man, he displayed a high aptitude for the culinary arts.
This eventually led to the legendary Alain Ducasse offering Soliveres the position as chef de cuisine at the gastronomic restaurant La Bastide de Gordes – often referred to as the jewel of Provance, where he won his first Michelin-star.
