The hotel incurred an investment of about Rs 15 crore and is spread over 1.3 acres. The Roots Corporation had submitted the proposal to the state in 2006 but the project was delayed due to site selection and other administrative approvals.

The hotel has 94 rooms — with air─conditioning and electronic locks, a work area, a 20─inch LCD television with satellite channels, direct dial telephone including STD facility, mini─fridge and tea/coffee maker machine. A conference room, cyber cafe, gymnasium, automatic check─in kiosk, digital safe deposit boxes, vending machines and Wi─Fi connectivity are other facilities available on the premises. Guests can avail concessions on advance bookings through the Internet.
