Position Overview:
The position is responsible to oversee and organize the day to day affairs of the residence, maintain high standards and overall efficiency. Schedule is full time and applicants must be flexible and accommodating to being on call as required by principal’s itinerary. This includes some evenings and weekends if necessary. Applicants should be team players who are willing to be hands on and resourceful with a positive attitude.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Day to day running of the residence to maintain standards and efficiency
•Staff management for hiring, training and scheduling of ten staff members in residence including housekeepers, driver and cook.
•Oversee care of fine furnishings and finishes.
•Organize vendors and trades for exterior maintenance of outdoor recreational areas.
•Wardrobe management for residence and travel packing & unpacking.
•Manage and monitor household pantry stocks, inventories and budgets.
•Manage kitchen inventories and assist with menu planning for daily service and social occasions.
•Food & beverage services for family and guests.
•Greeting of guests and visitors including valet duties.
