NEWS| Ras Resorts, Silvassa to add 60 rooms by December 2010

Ras Resorts in Silvassa, the capital of the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, plans to add 60 rooms to its existing room inventory of 100 rooms, by end of December 2010.

The four-star hotel is the only property in Silvassa, which is government approved. Spread across 8.5 acres on the banks of river Daman Ganga, another five acres have been acquired to set up additional rooms. Presently, the resort has three categories of rooms (deluxe, executive and suites), a coffee shop ‘Bistro’ and a lounge bar ‘Banyan Tree.’ Plans are afoot to open another coffee shop with 75 covers, which will be operational by December this year.
