NEWS| Intl| Ibis goes full blast in its Middle East development expansion

This year marks robust growth for the Ibis brand, Accor's economy lodging hotel, with the opening of four new Ibis hotels in the Middle East which are Ibis Muscat (171 rooms) in Oman and Ibis Amman (158 rooms) in Jordan; Ibis Al Barsha (480 rooms) and Ibis Mall of the Emirates (204 rooms), both opened early May in Dubai.

The Ibis network in the Middle East continues to grow with openings planned in key business and leisure destinations, such as Ibis Rigga in Dubai scheduled to open in March 2010 while two other Ibis properties are set to open in Bahrain and Kuwait also in early 2010. These upcoming hotel openings will bring the Ibis regional portfolio to ten hotels.
