Alchemist Food and Beverage (AFB), the F&B arm of Alchemist Ltd plans to operate four restaurant brands in India.
The four F&B segments are Pan Asian, Indian, European Cafe and lounge bar-cum-pub.

By end of March 2011, AFB plans to open 17 restaurants in Northern region namely in Delhi, National Capital Region (NCR), Gurgaon, Noida and Panchkula near Chandigarh. Three restaurants in Panchkula will be operational by May 2010 and two restaurants in Noida by June 2010. The approximate amount of investment for these outlets is Rs 25 crore.
Furthermore, to have a pan India presence, AFB plans to roll out franchisee model in its second year of operations. Informing about the developments, Siddharth Kumar, Vice President, Alchemist Food and Beverage said, "The restaurants will be owned and operated by us. The Pan Asian and Indian restaurant will be a fine dine restaurant catering to the mid-market clients. These will have around 70-80 covers whereas European Cafe will have 40-50 covers. However, the average per cover depends upon the location, market and clientele. Our products are feasible for Tier-I and Tier-II cities."
