Lavasa to witness 2,000 hotel rooms by 2013

Lavasa, one of the landmark projects of Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), will witness 2,000 hotel rooms being set up by 2013. This will include 1,000 hotel rooms each in Lavasa's twin cities, Dasve and Mugaon. Lavasa International Convention Centre, which will have a capacity to accommodate 1,500 delegates, will be operational by April 2010.

However Mercure brand with set up 133 rooms soon and by the end of the year Novotel brand will add 220 keys.

By end of 2011, Pullman (250 rooms) and Hilton Hotel (200 rooms) will be launched. Currently, Fortune Select Dasve and The Waterfront Shaw are operational in Lavasa. As far as restaurants are concerned, Chor Bizarre and Oriental Octopus will be operational by mid-April of this year.
