According to a report in asiatraveltips.com, The Oberoi, Mumbai has confirmed that it will re-open on April 24, 2010 following extensive restoration and renovation. The hotel has been completely transformed to offer new contemporary interiors, new facilities and the latest technology. All guest rooms and suites have been renovated and include marble bathrooms.

New dining options include Ziya, an Indian restaurant under the direction of the Michelin starred Chef Vineet Bhatia; a new all day dining restaurant; a new bar and a completely redesigned lounge.
