Previously, she was Global Director, Six Sigma Training and Deployment, and Director, Organizational Development, for Starwood Hotels and Resorts with cross-brand, cross-geography responsibilities. Sanders is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt. From 1996-2000, Sanders served as Director, Training & Development, for Impac Hotel Group and subsequently Lodgian, Inc. She also has served as a Corporate Quality Advisor to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. Sanders' hospitality industry experience includes a five-year adjunct faculty appointment at New York University's Robert Preston Tisch Center for Hospitality Travel and Tourism, where she taught in the Master's Program. She holds MBAs from the Columbia Business School and London Business School, as well as a BS in Marketing from Florida State University.
