APTDC invites bids to operate hotel at Tourism Plaza in Hyderabad

The Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) has invited proposals from hoteliers to operate and maintain an 84-room property in the Tourism Plaza – Balayogi Paryatak Bhawan, Hyderabad.
The hotel has been constructed and partly developed by APTDC and the corporation intends to hand over the operations and maintenance to an experienced private operator. The bid details are available for download on APTDC website.


APTDC's Tourism Plaza covers 2,10,000 square feet area in a centrally air conditioned seven storeyed facility built on 1.83 acre plot in Begumpeth, Hyderabad. The top four floors and some area of the second floor are designed to accommodate 84-rooms for the three/four star hotel with a swimming pool on the third floor. The Tourism Plaza will also house state tourist information bureaus, tour and travel operators, reservation counters for air, rail and taxi services and will be managed by APTDC. The selected operator will be required to invest in furniture, operate and manage the hotel and the food court on the ground floor for a period of 15 years.
