StayWell Hospitality Group, the owner and operator of the Park Regis and Leisure Inn brands today announced a new agreement to operate an international 4 star hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Scheduled to open in the first half of 2011, Park Regis Kuala Lumpur will be StayWell Hospitality Group's first hotel to open in Malaysia.
The property's owner, Taragon Capital Malaysia Sdn Bhd (a member company of Bluestone Group Malaysia), has engaged StayWell Hospitality Group's experienced team to provide management services for the hotel both throughout its development and from the date of opening.
The hotel is centrally located in Kuala Lumpur's Golden Triangle adjacent to Berjaya Times Square, Chinatown and Jalan Bukit Bintang, and less than 1 kilometre from the city centre.
The brand new 27 storey hotel will comprise 445 rooms generously sized from 35sqm to 120.3sqm - including Studios, One and Two Bedroom Suites and Presidential Suites, all with unique and stylish interior designs.
Park Regis Kuala Lumpur's key features and services will include conference and banquet facilities, seminar rooms and a business centre and business lounge spanning over two levels, restaurant and bar, swimming pool, fully-equipped gym and sauna and a security car park for 133 vehicles.
The Group's Chief Executive Officer, Mr Simon Wan, said that the latest announcement is particularly exciting as it reinforces StayWell Hospitality Group's international expansion strategy.
