A bedbug was found in a guest room at the Courtyard by Marriott hotel at 2006 Edwin C. Moses Blvd., a hotel official confirmed Friday.
“I believe that this is an isolated incident,” said Janie Loughran, general manager of the hotel located near University of Dayton Arena.
Ecolab, a pest control company, confirmed the bedbug and quarantined the room, Loughran said.
The room remains closed and will not be returned to hotel inventory until it has been sanitized, she said.
The surrounding rooms were free of bedbugs, Loughran said.
