Job Details: An opening exclusive resort in Cambodia now seeks a Building and Ground Manager/ Chief Engineer to join its team. The resort boasts an exclusive setting of luxury and sustainability of a truly unique resort atmosphere.
Position: Building & Ground Manager/ Chief Engineer
Reporting:
To the General Manager
Management's most important roles are:
7 to 15 years experience in Hotel/Resort Industry - Island Resort preferred experience.
Mechanical or Electrical degree recommended
Have the experience in Setting up of an Engineering Department from Opening (preferably)
Computer literate – Knowledge of excel/word/other engineering related software.
Able to prepare R&M budget.
Creative analytical Problem Solving
Management and implementation of Best Practices
Can evaluate Staff recruitment, Training and Development
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background with 7 to 15 years experience, preferably acquired in the resort management and island resort around Asia. They will be recognised for having expertise in hotel/resort preventive maintenance program implementation. They should either be in the position of Chief engineer, or assistant in a much larger hotel/resort. Strong training skills is essential.
They should have a highly considerate and involving, yet a firm leadership style. Their knowledge and experience in Water treatment, Electrical, Air Conditioning & Telecommunications to enhance the island potential.
Language:
Fluency English is essential.
