PUNTA PACIFICA, PANAMA Trump Ocean Club International Hotel & Tower, the first property beyond the United States for Trump Hotel Collection, will open in Panama this spring.
The 70-story Trump Ocean Club offers sweeping views of the Pearl Islands, located near the sophisticated shops and nightlife of Punta Pacifica and the city's business-centric International Banking Center. The building, designed by architect Arias Serna Saravia and developer Newland International Properties Corp., mimics a sail deployed in the wind.
Trump Ocean Club's 369 guestrooms, including 47 suites, range from 526 to 1,561 sq. ft., each featuring floor-to-ceiling windows.
"The excitement for next spring's debut is palpable," says Mark Stevenson, general manager of Trump Ocean Club. "This is exactly the luxury product that Panama and Central America needs right now, and the team is working diligently to ensure that the hotel exceeds everything that we have promised in design and experience."
More than 10,000 sq. ft. have been dedicated to the spa and fitness center, while meeting space covers more than 16,000 sq. ft. Dining options range from gourmet oceanfront restaurants to a plaza with freshly prepared foods and a sophisticated pool deck dining space.
Atop the 13th floor will be Trump Ocean Club's Pool Deck. Two pools—including an infinity-edge pool—private cabanas, loungers and an open-air bistro and bar will make it a popular perch to view the setting sun.
