Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Afak Co. for Touristic Development Co. for the new-build 676-key Hilton Makadi Resort, the fourth Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the area of Hurghada, Egypt.
The hotel is expected to open in the second quarter of 2012. Situated in a prime location in Makadi Bay, about 30 km south of Hurghada and 35 km from Hurghada International Airport, the hotel overlooks the Red Sea with a 400-m private sandy beach.
