Singapore-based investment company Cinnovation CG has formed a joint venture with hotel management firm InVision Hospitality that aims to open 30 hotels across Asia by 2013.
The new entity, called Zinc InVision Hospitality, will be financed in part by Z-I Capital Partners, the investment fund set up by current Zinc InVision partners and fortified by other investors. It will be helmed by CEO Kevin Beauvais, the former country manager of Thailand for Marriott International and COO of Minor International PCL.
"Cinnovation CG has the financial depth and hospitality background to support the growth, while InVision has the depth of experience and hospitality know-how to execute all elements of technical, sales and marketing and operating activities,” Beauvais says. “We expect phoenix-like growth in the next few years."
Zinc InVision features seven hospitality brands already developed: Zinc City, Glow Studios, Zinc Edge, Zinc Living, Zinc Journey, SOMA and Touch by Zinc.
