Martin Brenner joins Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok

Mr. Thierry Douin, vice president and general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, has great pleasure to announce the appointment of Mr. Martin Brenner as hotel manager at Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok. Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Brenner was resident manager at Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa, Cebu.



An Austrian national, Mr. Brenner brings to Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok his extensive management experience in various aspects of administration and food and beverage operations gained at leading chain hotels in Europe and Asia.

Mr. Brenner joined Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in 2002 as director of food and beverage at Shangri-La Hotel, Manila. Two years later, he moved to Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur in a similar position, and then became executive assistant manager.

Before joining Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Mr. Brenner spent five years working at leading hotels in Abu Dhabi. He began his career as assistant banquet manager at Hotel Bristol Vienna after completion of an apprenticeship in his home country.
