As soon as you enter the city name, on the left hand side the arrival and departure boxes appear (marked 1 in the screen shot below)
Once you feed those in, hotels appear with prices on offer (marked 2)
You can read reviews of the hotel, see more information, store the information or share it.
If you are a hotel manager/ sales manager/ revenue manager you better start looking at your hotel google places account and your listing on google maps.
