Royal Orchid Hotels net up 46 per cent at Rs 4.38 crore

Royal Orchid Hotels Limited has earned total consolidated revenue of Rs 41.48 crore for the quarter ended December 2010 as against Rs 31.65 crore in the quarter ended December 2009, showing an increase of 31 per cent.

According to the company release, the consolidated profit after taxes for quarter ended December 2010 is Rs 4.38 crore as against Rs three crore of the same quarter last year, showing an increase of 46 per cent. The consolidated financial statements include results of all the subsidiaries of Royal Orchid Hotels Limited.

Chender Baljee, Chairman & Managing Director, Royal Orchid Hotels Limited said, “The business across all our hotels has shown improvement in the last quarter and we hope that this trend will continue with positive signs of business improving across most of the industries. Our new projects in strategic locations are coming up as planned; there will be a substantial growth in revenue and profit in the coming months.
