Mumbai─based Bawa Group of Hotels is in the process of taking over franchised management contract for operating a 58─room four─star hotel in C scheme, Jaipur. Bawa Group will operate the property for a period of ten years as per the business arrangement.
The property will open for business this month. This is the firm's second venture outside Mumbai, apart from the recent management contract signed for Bawa Walson Kolkata. Bawa Group intends to expand the brand (in the mid market segment) through franchised management contracts across India.
“Since 2011, Bawa Group is aggressively scouting for franchise management partners to expand their brand across India. Bawa Walson hotel in Kolkata was the first to be associated with us. Going forward, our aim is to establish synergies with the right partners in prime locations. Typically we're looking at hotels with 35─100 rooms located strategically, the final product (after necessary changes) will be a full service business hotel,” informed Vikramveer Singh Bawa, Managing Director, Bawa Group of Hotels.
