Café Prato, Four Seasons Mumbai launches new brasserie menu and high tea

Mumbai’s top European brasserie is raising the stakes even higher with an exciting amalgamation of organically grown vegetables, ethical Kegg (cage-free) eggs and the finest products available to man.

Innovative culinarian Clinton Cooper, executive chef of café PRATO & Bar, has devised a new menu of European cuisine with a fresh, modern twist. Light bites range from beet salad with gorgonzola, fresh pear and candied walnuts to a sandwich of roasted portobello mushrooms, grilled haloumi cheese and pesto mayo. Don’t miss the signature white pizza topped with potato, truffle and taleggio or the devilishly delicious chocolate brownie with dulche de leche ice cream and sizzling chocolate sauce. The new menu, along with a tantalising selection of Indian dishes, is now available for lunch and dinner every day.

Befitting the Café’s elegant style, this season also sees the launch of Prato’s High Tea – a delectable, daily-changing spread of international and Indian bites complemented by some of India’s finest single estate teas. Guests can nibble on quiche and kathi, pakoda and scones, gateaux and fruit tartlets while sipping aromatic specialties from some of the country’s most revered tea gardens. It’s the epitome of refinement – and the perfect place to practise the serious art of relaxation, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Monday to Thursday in café PRATO & Bar.
