De Touché, a company floated by private entrepreneurs from Bengaluru has recently opened its maiden F&B venture, Touché on 100 Feet Road Indranagar.
The tech─friendly concept is one─of─a─kind in the city and is touted to be the first touch table restaurant in India, set up with an investment of Rs 2.6 crore.
The range of features exclusive to Touché include comprehensive listing of menu items and content replete with images, placing orders directly to the kitchen, entertainment options for diners, interaction with Chefs and access to the Internet. Touché is a multi─cuisine restaurant with a total seating capacity of 60 in the main restaurant area plus a private party area for 30 persons. The average per cover (APC) at Touché is Rs 800.
“Every table in the restaurant is installed with a large touch screen device placed in the centre of the table, which is connected to a CPU. We have also developed a 'touch over─line' option to enable the touch screen to work even through glass. Everything is connected to a back─end server, which is controlled by a team of technicians.
