The 46th Annual Convention of Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) will be held between October 11 and 13, 2011. The venue has been finalised and the convention is going to take place at Montien Riverside Hotel in Bangkok.
According to Ratan Marothia, President, FHRAI, “The first convention of Hotel & Restaurant Association of Northern India will be held at Ista Amritsar in Punjab between September 23 and 25, 2011. The FHRAI convention will take place after 15 days and hence to offer our members an interesting destination, we have chosen Bangkok as the venue for the convention.”
Besides, Bangkok, FHRAI was earlier contemplating to the hold the convention in Kolkata or Bhubaneswar. “The room rates being offered by this hotel is less than the room rates offered by hotels in Kolkata,” added Marothia.
