A new exclusive holiday resort on a private island at Maldives. The resort will provide excellent quality of services through well-trained and motivated staff.
The launch is planned for second half of 2012 and we are currently searching for the management team to finish the pre-launch activities and start running the resort.
The General Manager will be reporting directly to the owner of company, you will be responsible for managing of various unites - including finance, marketing, human resources and general services.
We expect the candidate to have outstanding financial acumen and the ability to drive operational excellence throughout the property.
Main responsibilities:
- Overall operations and finance management responsibility for the resort
(smooth run of all operations, profitability – P&L responsibility)
- Direct management of the CXO / management team (strong CFO with
local experience, knowledge, Sales & Marketing Manager, HR manager
etc.
- Strategic management – creation and implementation of business
strategies of all functional departments
- The position is located at Maldives
Requirements:
- Degree in Business, Marketing and/or Hotel Management
- Over 5 Years GM Experience in hotels / resorts, opening experience
would be of advantage
- Familiarity with the business environment in South Asia region would be
of an advantage
- Fluency in English, both in oral and written form, additional languages
are a plus
- Analytical skills, finance management understanding
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
