Royal Orchid Hotels Limited has declared its Quarter One (Q1) results. It earned a total consolidated revenue of Rs 35.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30 2011, as against Rs 32.49 crore in the corresponding period last year, showing an increase of 11 per cent.
The earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation for the quarter is Rs 6.95 crore, as against Rs 6.38 crore in the corresponding period last year, showing an increase of nine per cent. The consolidated profit after taxes for the quarter is Rs 0.23 crore, as against Rs one crore in the corresponding period last year.
According to the company release, during Q1, a new hotel at Vadodara was opened. With nine new properties on the anvil the group is looking forward to a promising performance in the current financial year. Royal Orchid Hotel, Hyderabad will be ready for operations in a couple of months.
