NEWS | Dona Paula in Goa to host workshop on food processing on October 20, 2011
Konkan Conclave, a one-day workshop on food processing, would be held on October 20, 2011, in Dona Paula, Goa. It would be jointly organised by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) and the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
“Basically, the workshop would be based on latest technologies focusing on products of mango, vegetables, kokum, pineapple, passion fruit and cocoa,” said T Sudhakar, an official, APEDA.
Sudhakar added that the event would invite most of the farmers and food processors from the Konkan belt stressing on the latest technologies and also would analyse the situation in post-harvesting, processing and investment policies and other areas in the Konkan region.
