Hilton Worldwide has been recognised once more as a leading company within the hospitality industry by winning in seven categories at the European final of the renowned World Travel Awards 2011, voted for by travel agents worldwide.
Hilton Copenhagen Airport was named “Denmark’s Leading Business Hotel” at the awards for the second consecutive time, while several other hotels of the company’s portfolio in Europe were also among the winners in the following six award categories: Europe’s Leading Wedding & Honeymoon Resort – Hilton Dalaman Resort & Spa Croatia's Leading Hotel – Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik (for the second consecutive time) Italy’s Leading Conference Hotel – Rome Cavalieri, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts Northern Ireland's Leading Business Hotel – Hilton Templepatrick Hotel & Country Club (for the third consecutive time) Portugal's Leading Resort – Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa Turkey's Leading Beach Resort – Hilton Dalaman Resort & Spa (for the second consecutive time) Simon Vincent, area president, Europe, Hilton Worldwide, said, “I am delighted to see some of our European flagship hotels win against their competition in multiple markets and categories – some of them for the second or third consecutive time.
