Sahara Star, a flagship five-star hotel of Sahara India Pariwar in Mumbai, was honoured with the 'Design Innovation Honors for India's Largest Marine Aquarium' by RR Kabel Society Interiors Building Design Awards 2011. The award was presented to Vivek Kumar, CEO, Hotel Sahara Star & Aamby Valley City at a ceremony, which was held recently at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.
Commenting on the achievement, Kumar said, “Our vision of being pioneers in creating a fusion of hospitality and entertainment has been reaffirmed with this honour. According to the company release, Society Interiors magazine has initiated the first edition of 'Society Interiors Building Design Awards 2011', which recognises the best designed projects across different categories in commercial, residential, hospitality and retail constructed in Mumbai and Delhi with special focus on design aspect of the project.
