Saffron Group, a real estate company in North India, has forayed into the hospitality business with the launch of their first hotel Comfort Inn Saffron Kiran at Faridabad on Delhi – Mathura Road in the National Capital Region (NCR). The 50-room boutique hotel will be managed by Choice Hotels India under their mid-scale brand Comfort Inn.
Announcing the opening of the maiden hospitality venture, Sunil Sharma, CEO, Saffron Group said, “The hotel will set standards in hospitality in and around the area and is proud to be associated with the Choice Hotels as a partner. We look forward to more openings in the future and a long partnership with the Choice Hotels.” Vilas Pawar, CEO, Choice Hotels India said that Comfort Inn Saffron Kiran is an excellent product, which meets all the international product standards, the brand stands for. “The new property is the 25th hotel to join under the Choice Hotels portfolio. Choice Hotels India will add one more property at Rajkot in Gujarat by the end of this year,” he further said. Since the property is located close to Delhi and the Industrial Area of Faridabad, it mainly caters to the business travellers. The hotel has two category of rooms – Superior rooms and Business suites. In the Food and Beverage segment, the hotel has one multi-cuisine restaurant – Woodpecker; Angaar – an Indian restaurant; and also a bar – Retriever. There is indoor and outdoor banqueting area to cater to around 350-400 pax in the hotel. It has 24-hour room service, Internet connectivity in guest rooms, good dining options, meeting rooms, etc.
