Operational background and knowledge of hospitality industry is preferable Key tasks At main entrance:  To record number plates of taxis coming in and out  To prevent traffic jam at the main entrance  To supervise the luggage left the main entrance  To supervise the plants infront of the hotel., to assist the guards in the lobby when the hotel is too busy. At the lobby:  To watch guests coming in and out of the hotel, to ensure security in the lobby.  For those who want to go up to guest room without check-in, are asked to contact the receptionist. The guards must photocopy the paper related to the visitor.  To observe the luggage left in the lobby during the guests’ check-in and check-out.  To pay close attention to guests of suspision to make sure that they cannot steall anything from guests.  To prevent unwanted incidents made by drunk guests  To assist guards at the main entrance when needed. At the front gate:  To direct coming cars to and out of the hotel  To supervise the motorbike parking lot  To stop motorbikes from running up to the main entrance to rob things there and to ensure safety there.  To supervise the area infront of the hotel, especially the gas hole.  To ensure security at the gate and fire hosereel nearby. At the staff Entrance  To supervise Staff working hours  To remind staff of observing the hotel regulations  To check staff bags when in and out of the hotel. At the back gate:  To check things in and out of the hotel from suppliers, sub-contractors, customers companies. To direct them around the hotel. To check them out.  To check the hotel’s things out, based on a HOD’s gatepass when the hotel has catering outside. To check them in.  To supervise and handle fire signals, lifts, exit alarms.
