Pleasant Holidays has re-branded its Hawaii World Distinguished Resorts subsidiary as Journese-Curators of Fine Travel. Under the new brand, the 34-year-old wholesaler will focus on affluent travelers, with its portfolio enhanced for that purpose, stated a report in Travel Pulse. The rebranding coincides with the launching of three new destinations.
Kimberly Daley, Vice President and Managing Director of Journese said, the company has been experiencing double-digit growth.
The business model of Journese is based on in-depth consultative advising to travel agents and their clients; a new four- and five-star portfolio; upscale amenities; additional destinations such as Italy, Australia and New Zealand; offerings including luxury homes, yachts and villas; and concierge-level service. The model also relies on service to clients by travel agents. “We are redefining the benefits of having a travel expert or agent,” said Daley. “People realise they need accountants, realtors and brokers, but not everyone fully understands the incredible benefits of working with a knowledgeable travel advisor. In fact, the average online consumer visits more than 20 websites when booking travel - and some simply get frustrated and give up on the trip altogether.” Journese currently offers service in destinations including the Hawaiian Islands, Caribbean, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Fiji, Cook Islands, Costa Rica, the US, and will soon add Italy. The company pledges to provide concierge-level planning where destination specialists work with the travel agent to customize itineraries including transfers, activities and amenities so that no time is wasted researching and scheduling the destination and the entire vacation is enjoyed.
