Monisha Dewan, General Manager, Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket, has received the Regional General Manager of the Year Award for Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe and Africa at the recently concluded 2011 Hilton Garden Inn Awards. On receiving the award, Dewan said, “The General Manager of the Year Award is a recognition of the support, effort and dedication of my team to consistently exceed guest expectations while making lasting memories.I dedicate this award to every team member at Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket.” Dewan’s experience in the hospitality industry spans more than two decades. She joined Hilton Worldwide in 2008 as General Manager of Hilton Garden Inn New Delhi/Saket. Presented annually by Hilton Worldwide, Inc. for its mid-priced Hilton Garden Inn brand, the Regional General Manager of the Year Award recognises an outstanding personality and hotel performance. The criteria for nomination also includes Total Quality Services review, and the General Manager must demonstrate ultimate leadership in all areas of the property, stated the release.
