Some of the Duties of a Host/Hostess/Restaurant Receptionist will include: • Provide friendly, professional helpful and courteous service to the customer at all times. To be part of a philosophy of excellence and to ensure that Breakfast becomes the most important service period and guest satisfaction and recognition become second to none. • Take responsibility for the presentation and the smooth running of the restaurant reception with attention paid to all tables. And for welcoming our guests • To recognise to the needs and comfort of the customer throughout service and do not forget that we are a Restaurant, our main focus is customer relation and satisfaction. As well everyone is a Sales person so lead by example. • To ensure that you are present for briefings carried out before each service period. • To ensure complete & thorough knowledge of the food & beverage items for The Restaurant. • You must be able to demonstrate excellent social and communication skills Optional requirements Experience, Knowledge and Skills required: • Minimum 1 years previous experience in Food & Beverage within deluxe property hotels with at least six months in a similar position. • Experience of Micros – Opera. • Excellent knowledge of Food & beverage • Ability to priority different tasks and requests coupled with proven organization skills. • Food & Hygiene certificate and Health & Safety Awareness an advantage. • Good level of English language both spoken and written. • Flexibility to work on rotas is a must.
