Worldhotels is welcoming their 100th affiliate in the Asia-Pacific region with the opening of a new property in Hong Kong. The deluxe resort and convention hotel on the waterfront of Discovery Bay will open next month. “As the 100th member of Worldhotels’ fast-growing Asia-Pacific portfolio,
the new resort hotel is a welcome alternative to Hong Kong’s city hotels in a relaxed getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet with remarkably quick and convenient access,” said Roland Jegge, Vice President, Asia-Pacific, Worldhotels. Featuring 325 rooms and suites, the property has been designed as a resort hotel for leisure, meetings and events, and is 30 minutes from Hong Kong International Airport and Asia World Expo, said a release. The resort getaway has a seaside wedding chapel and poolside wedding gazebo, complete with a ballroom that could cater to almost 600 guests. Recreational facilities at the property include an outdoor swimming pool, health club, kids playground and Spa Botanica. The hotel’s all-day signature restaurant offers international and Asian cuisine with outdoor seating alongside a lounge and bar, both offering a view of the ocean.
