An Indian national, Sandeep boasts an array of qualifications including an MBA in hospitality management and international marketing management, an international diploma in hospitality management from the American Hotel & Lodging Association, a Bachelor of Business of Administration, and diplomas in sales and marketing and international business management. He began his career in hospitality at The Accord Metropolitan in Chennai as business development executive before moving across to the Marriott Courtyard in the same city, specialising in business travel and the pharmaceutical sector. Travelling to the Arabian Gulf, he took up a post as sales executive at Le Meridien Jeddah, and then transferred within the Starwood group to the Sheraton Khalidiyah.
