Worldhotels affiliate 313-room Central Hotel Shanghai has completed a USD 27 million renovation. An executive club floor with a separate reception, personal concierge with its own lounge and restaurant, mini-conference rooms, non-smoking floors, among others have been introduced.

The new continental bar has opened on the second floor, complementing the refined, classical Shanghai restaurant and 24-hour coffee shop. Also upgraded is the recreation centre, with a brand new mini-golf facility, as well as the spa and beauty salon. Restyling by Hong Kong interior designer Steve Leung is complemented by Samsung LED TVs in all rooms, and beds with custom-designed Sealy mattresses, as well as Frette bed sheets.
