USA-based Herman Miller has launched Nelson Pedestal Table and Nelson Coconut Chair. The coconut lounge chair was designed by George Nelson in 1956. The chair has shallow sides and curves, padded with a thick, one-piece foam rubber cushion upholstered in supple black leather. The pedestal table designed in 1954 is available in three sizes and with laminate or natural stone tops,which makes it useful in a variety of ways. The table is capable to hold a lamp, a laptop or e-reader, a book and coffee mug, or a bowl of flowers in style. Depending upon the size and top material chosen, the table can be used in office, informal meeting area, and lounge. It can also be used as a coffee table or an occasional table.
