Madhya Pradesh Ecotourism Development Board (MPEDB) is set to launch ‘Jungle Caravan’ scheme from June 23 for excursions to tourist spots in and around Bhopal. Under the scheme, tourists will be able to enjoy sightseeing at natural spots like Kerwa, Van Vihar,
Samardha, Kathotiya, Chidikhoh, etc. The board will make various facilities available at a given tourist spot as per a tourist's wish, including tour guidance, bird watching, boating, rappelling, to name a few. According to a TOI report by Ankur Sirothia, officials of the board believe that the idea would help in attracting more number of tourists from the interstate and outside as well.
