The general meeting of shareholders and another meeting of trade creditors of Country Club (India) Ltd has approved the amalgamation of Amrutha Estates & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd with Country Club (India) Ltd. In a statement to the stock exchanges,
Country Club said this merger is aimed at enabling the amalgamated entity to derive benefits of integration with the group company and thereby benefit both the companies. A meeting held earlier this week, convened on the directions of the Andhra Pradesh High Court (APHC), unanimously approved the amalgamation process under the supervision of Divya Rani, Chairperson appointed by the Court. In an order passed in April this year, the APHC had directed that the above meeting be held, informed a Hindu Business Line report by V Rishi Kumar.
