Louvre Hotels, one of the largest hotel chains in Europe, has opened a boutique hotel — Tulip Inn in Ahmedabad. According to the Indian Express report, the three-star hotel brand is one of the latest property to come up on the SG Highway which already has a noted brands like Marriott, Ramada Inn, Pride and Cambay.
“Though the city is facing an oversupply of four and five-star-category rooms, there is an acute shortage when it comes to three-star rooms. We have therefore priced our rooms between Rs 4000-7000,” said, N K Patel, Managing Director, Sun Builders, which owns the property located at Sola. The 42-room hotel has been designed to cater to large number of business executives, he added.
