Most recently, he served for two years as the Hotel Manager at The Carlyle, a luxury property in New York City. Prior to The Carlyle, Sterner was the Resort Manager at Rosewood Little Dix Bay in the British Virgin Islands where he and his team elevated the level of service and guest experience to new heights and won accolades from the travel industry.In the past decade, Mark has also filled several senior management positions in equally acclaimed properties including Sandy Lane in Barbados, Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland, the Burj Al Arab in Dubai and the K-Club in Barbuda. A true citizen of the world, Mark was born in Germany and raised in some very exciting locations such as Tunisia, The Gambia and Egypt during his formative years. Mark earned his Hospitality Management Degree from the Hotel School in Hannover.
