Gulf Hotels Group has announced changes to the top management in two of its hotels. Ian McKie has been appointed general manager and area general manager of the Gulf Hotel, while the K Hotel will now be headed by Volker Mandlowsky. Mr Mandlowsky has over 24 years of experience in hospitality having worked across the world from Germany,New Zealand, Russia to Nigeria and Sudan. His expertise includes extensive knowledge of food and beverages, having spent around 14 years as a chef and seven years in administration. He previously worked for international chains such as the Sheraton, Hilton, Kempinski, and Crowne Plaza. Gulf Hotels Group recently announced new expansion plans, including introduction of the Amwaj Waves Hotel Apartments and development of a Spa facility at the Gulf Hotel.
