Hotel jobs across the nation have been boosted today with the launch of Accor's search for 100 new management apprentices.
Initial interviews will be held in Novotels across the UK and start today in London from 14:00 to 19:00 BST. They will then move on to Sheffield (October 3rd), Manchester (October 4th), Birmingham (October 17th) and Cardiff (October 23rd).
The Management Apprenticeship Programme (MAP) is open for people aged 16 to 23. This programme is for jobseekers wanting to begin a career in hospitality and who want to advance through to a supervisory level quickly.
Partnering with Babcock, a large provider of work-based training in the UK, apprenticeships offered will be in the areas of food and beverage, kitchen, housekeeping, reception, fitness and leisure and maintenance.
The MAP consists of the foundation apprenticeship that runs for 12 months, then an advanced stage which will take 12 to 18 months to complete.
