The Oberoi and Lemon Tree groups have expressed their desire to set up hotels in Bhopal.
An official release said here on Wednesday that Jaideep Kang of Oberoi group and Vikramjit Singh, national director of Lemon Tree Hotels, conveyed this to Minister for Urban administration, Babulal Gaur and Tourism minister, Tukojirao Puar during a meeting yesterday at New Delhi.
The hotel representatives were invited to Bhopal and assured of full cooperation in setting up the hotels. The two were also invited to take part in the three-day Investors' Summit to be held at Indore this year from October 28.
