Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts will open Swissôtel Jadaf Dubai in the Al Jadaf area, Dubai by early 2016, making it the group’s second hotel in the Middle East. The Al Jadaf area is located close to the Dubai Mall, Dubai International Financial District, World Trade Centre, Dubai Festival City and Health Care City. The hotel will comprise three hotels, residences,
serviced apartments, retail and entertainment facilities. Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts will be partnering with Aabar Properties, a real estate development, management and investment company, in setting-up the hotel. With Emirati architecture, Swissôtel Jadaf Dubai will have over 280 rooms and suites, an all-day dining restaurant, three speciality restaurants with outdoor areas, and a Pürovel Spa. There will also be facilities for meetings, conferences and ballroom, all with a total area of 1,600 square metres. Meinhard Huck, President, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts, said, “Dubai has been at the top of our wish list for a long time. Although a large accommodation offering already exists, thanks to the increase in visitors, there is still demand for elegant hotels. This is an additional important step in our expansion in this region.” Khalifa Al Mehairi, CEO, Aabar Properties, said, “Leisure segment has always been a part of Aabar Properties’ long-term strategies and I am glad that we are making our presence in Dubai, besides our initiatives and ventures in Abu Dhabi, with this solid partnership with Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts.”
