Banyan Tree has opened its first urban resort concept in mainland China.
Banyan Tree Shanghai On The Bund provides river views from each of the resort’s 130 rooms.
Expansive accommodation boasts generous interiors and oversized windows with views that open out onto the broad Bund thoroughfare and Huangpu River beyond.
A variety of room types are available,
including the signature Oasis Room with Romantic Pool which features a private dipping pool.
In addition, the Banyan Suite will include a generously-sized swimming pool, an unique offering among Shanghai hotels.

Each of the guestrooms and suites features all the comforts and conveniences for which Banyan Tree is renowned. An Expediency Box is placed outside each guestroom for pick-up and delivery of polished shoes, laundry and dry-cleaning. Six different pillow choices ensure maximum comfort and a rooms are refreshed with a different therapeutic scent each day.
