India’s first and biggest frozen yogurt company Cocoberry has appointed Rahul Deans, a FMCG & retail veteran as its President. Deans' responsibilities would include overseeing the brand’s retail operations and heading the company's foray into FMCG.
Speaking about the appointment, G. S. Bhalla, Founder & CEO, Cocoberry said, "We are glad to have him on board. With consistent growth of Cocoberry, our constant effort is to take our retail investment from strength to strength to accelerate business as well as spread awareness about Cocoberry’s unique positioning in the market. With Rahul Deans as President, we hope to be able to establish our footprints across India more coherently and in a strategic manner.”
An alumnus of IIM-A, Rahul Deans began his career at HUL as a management trainee. He independently handled export businesses and was posted overseas in a marketing role. Post HUL, his overseas stints saw him handle FMCG sales and marketing in Russia and UK. He headed zonal operations and also handled marketing and merchandising at Aditya Birla Retail. In his last assignment, Rahul had a brief stint in Go Airlines, where he headed Marketing, revenue management and network planning.
